Our checking clinic will cover Angling , body checking, stick checking, puck protection, Similar to out Power Skating clinic. We break down each area into small skills, that when taught properly,will create a positive, confident environment for all players.  The drills are progressive so a player is not intimidated by the typical hitting drills that just throw the players in the mix without the proper training. They will be taught how to take a hit along the boards and in open Ice and they will also be taught how to deliver a hit the legal way to stay out of the box.   And finally, the players will be taught individual  puck protect skills along with learning how to battle for the puck in those one - one situations.
